Melissa & Ryan asked me to take their engagement  pictures at the Powell Gardens for them which is where they were engaged. It is so beautiful there! Oh my goodness.... It had been raining and raining and raining for multiple days before hand but the skies cleared and we had a beautiful day! Although it was hot (which caused lots of sweat haha) and super sunny (which causes lost of harsh shadows when you don't stay in the shade) it was a great day! I hope you enjoy these two little sneaky peekys!

After the storm...

It rained... HARD yesterday! As soon as all of the rain was done and gone and the sky was clearing and the sun starting to set I went to my room (left a whole lot of muddy tracks on my carpet) and grabbed my camera.  I had never really done a lot of water droplet pictures so that is what I focused on. I went straight to a pot of chives, the rosebush, and clematis vine and  this is what I got.

A Can of Corn and a Candle..

So.. the other night I was reading a crafty blog with a whole bunch of AWESOME things I wanted to make! There are 10 things that I took note of that I wanted to try. So far I have accomplished 3! Here is one of them.. Check it outttttttttttt... I only sliced up my thumb a little bit. :P Totally worth it. haha

Dandelions in May

I made Sarah model again for me today as I tried to get a picture of the seeds blowing off of a dandelion as she blew on it. I got distracted with being silly and silhouettes so... I'll having to try again some other time but for NOW this is what we got. :)

Just an old window frame..

So last year I found an old 8 paned window frame and decided to put it on my wall! But... it just sat.... and sat.... and sat on my front porch all summer and fall and was eventually put away in the cellar until this other day (a year later) I got it back out and actually started working on it! I painted it last night and had to caulk a few of the glass panes back in. I was up and covered in caulk until 1 O'clock doing that last night. haha This is what it looked like when I pulled it out of the cellar!

And this is what it looks like now! 

Although.... it is still missing a sheet of paper. But I will fix that very soon. Okay, I'm done sharing about things you don't care about. :) 

How about I share with you about my friend, Abby, who is visiting me tonight from her home in Illinois! I met her on my trip to Guatemala last summer.  We were bus buddies :) Everyone asked if we were twins or sisters... but we really don't look alike.. at all.. except that we are the same height and size! 

After this week we will have lots more pictures with each other :)

Country Drive :)

So today I was up at six to help Jessi with breakfast at the camp. I took a nap at 10 and woke up at noon. BUT I guess after my nap I woke up on the wrong side of the bed.... Because I wasn't in the best of moods. Haha So I went for a little drive with my camera and ipod. I may have almost been run over... But... I wasn't so it's all good. No worries everyone! 

Keeping it interesting

Heyooooooooooo! Okay, so Rachel and I went out and took some pictures tonight. :) First we had dinner at Chick-fil-a and they were giving balloons to the kids.... so we asked for some too!!! As we got out of the car at our photo shoot destination I accidentally let go of Rachel's balloon.... it was freed into the sky to live life on its own... until it pops. I'm sure it will be an amazing life. 


Anyway Here are some of the pictures of Rachel! :) This has inspired me to get more creative when I do photo shoots for people. I don't want to be just another boring photographer... I want to be different. Out there. Ya know.. so when people look it my pictures they will look at it... and then look at it again! And that they will make people smile and laugh.. maybe even cry. 

We like to keep it interesting.. :)

Mud... mud mud mud.

Hi. Today... I went outside with Tucker (Yes, I named my camera Tucker) to take some pictures and realized that everything is brown. Brown brown brown. So I took pictures of mud. The muddy road, my muddy boots, muddy pebbles, mud puddles, the un-muddy sky, yeah... Umm.. Oh, TWO cars drove by while I was outside. WATCH OUT! Rush hour in Rushville! Crazy... Anyway.. 

I have always wanted to go to the Grand Canyon. Okay okay.. it's not a canyon at all but this.... is as close as it gets for now.

Yes... I splashed in a mud puddle like a child. :)
